Toad 10.0 (October 2009) introduced the beginning of a new generation of Toad releases which offer significant improvements in productivity to developers, DBAs and analysts.
These four statements characterize the nature of the 10.0 and subsequent releases:

Flexibility – provides the means by which Toad can be used within different organizations having different business processes in any part of the world.
Toad for Oracle v10.6 includes some significant enhancements to existing features, designed to augment your workflow and enable you to get your job done more productively, more accurately and with better visibility of the environment in which you work.
The primary objective for this release is to provide enhanced application performance and workflow, so you will see a number of improvements in windows such as Schema Browser, ER Diagram, Code Road Map and Project Manager which can now handle larger quantities of objects faster as well as updating attribute information faster as a user navigates from object to object.
Toad for DB2 enables you to perform daily development and administration tasks.
